Live Happily Ever After Checklist - 5 uncomplicated Steps

"...they lived happily ever after" Is that just for fairy tales?

In 20+ years of teaching art to adults, I've seen major life transitions successfully weathered. Happiness lost and regained. I've distilled these into the following article and wish that it makes the happiest and best Christmas and holiday season for you.

Beaconhill

No matter what life has thrown at you, anything the barrier to enjoying life has been in the past, you have the power to recognize it, fire it, and replace it with something good.

You can live happily ever after. You deserve to. Let the sun shine in and get vigor from the following checklist to your happily ever after life.

1. Live With A safe bet Attitude beginning Now

a. One thing every person agrees on, especially after 18, life is short. Nothing and no one has the right to deprive you of the joy of living a full life every day.

b. Appreciate the time, condition and creative spirit you do have as uniquely special.

c. Don't listen to negativity, from the Tv, or anyone. Believe in yourself, in your basic good. Find out what can be done to solve any problem standing in the way of a great self. Enlist house or friends to work straight through it, as swiftly as possible.

d. It's alright to ask for help from above. God always listens and has time for you.

2. Each Day Is A Creative Opportunity--Are You Having Fun Yet?

a. If money could buy happiness, all Lottery winners should be ecstatic, right? Happiness is not buyable, or passive. You create it. It's a by-product of believing in yourself and doing good for man else, as in the short story, "The Gift of the Maji", by O. Henry.

b. This may sound corny, but it's often the simple, overlooked things that make a whole, satisfying day. Make it a point to to do a good deed daily, just be polite, or encourage someone. See how good that makes you feel! You will find a slice of every day where you can give a little, and that will give you a lift as well.

c. Be considerate and sick person with yourself and others. Keep your sense of humor and do your best. Happiness is both a journey and a destination.

3. You Are The expert On You

a. In the rush to "be somebody", have you put aside "you"-- that one gift that makes you special? recognize that something you enjoyed doing so much you lost track of time; and,

b. Take the time to build it. Working toward that goal will be satisfying in itself, so enjoy it!

4. Put Your Time And Talent At The aid Of Others

a. Do a little investigate and find your "happiness" home. Where does your gift fit? The place or group where you are comfortable, appreciated, and can share with others on a continuing basis.

b. Prefer one-on-one? available just to listen? Listening is truely a lost art. So many children and adults in schools and hospitals are desperate to talk to someone.

5. Give Yourself A article Card

a. Be open, flexible and look for ways to challenge your new self to new heights.

So, how do you like you so far? Too busy having fun? Sounds like you're living "happily ever after!"

So Long, Status Quo by Susy Flory

Adventures in Changing Your World

In "So Long, Status Quo" Susy Flory writes to inspire the reader to probe deeper into spiritual truths as well as to interact with others about issues of faith.

Beaconhill

The subtitle of her book states: "What I learned from Women Who Changed the World." Susy talks about the way she was challenged through the hardships and obstacles each of the nine women profiled in the book met a need exact to their day, world, and unique talents, concerns, and center in life. Each lesson speaks of the heroism of one woman, who singularly led in an endeavor to impact change injustices or unfair conditions in her world.

Flory illustrates their cause by writing of an caress from her life in which she attempted to emulate a similar service, one that took her out of her relax zone, impacted her life, and met the needs of others. At the close of each lesson she includes suggestions and resources for similar performance steps the reader may want to take.

Susy introduced me to the words of Annie Dillard. "Writing is sacred, a holy mission to translate truth into nouns and pronouns." What an appealing concept. She also shared thoughts on writing from Jane Austen, "You can wield words and ink and paper like weapons to fight injustice and possibly even change the world." Susy maintains a writing style distinctly her own. Funny, entertaining, and motivational, she writes with candor. I appreciated her vulnerability and transparency. Her writing is inspiring, transcending, and demonstrates a well practiced discipline in the craft of writing. Susie writes with candor, manufacture herself vulnerable. Her writing is entertaining, transcending, and demonstrates a disciplined coming to the craft of writing.

Although, "So Long, Status Quo" is primarily a book written for and about women, the challenge and inspiration is not microscopic by gender or age. Anything can adapt the lessons Susie learned. These lessons can be adjusted to fit our circumstances, locale, and individual gifts. Flory invites the reader to step out in a new adventure, drawing on the indwelling power of Christ to change the world.

Boston Vacations: Four Ways To sense Beantown

Boston is a great destination city for a vacation. There's fullness on tap to see and do, and it's an easy city to get nearby on foot. And you'll find Boston vacations a refreshing aggregate of old and new.

You can feel the start of the revolutionary war, take a bus on a river, and see a coral reef - and all before dinner.

Beaconhill

The best way of getting nearby during Boston vacations is walking. That's right the ole soft shoe shuffle. You'll save time and see more by expending some shoe leather.

But for first time visitors I highly suggest an orientation tour first.

A Splish-Splash Duck Tour

One of the best, and most unique tours is the Duck Tour ride.

The tour is done in a renovated World War Ii amphibious vehicle. You get to not only feel Boston from the streets of the city, but also from the Charles River.

That's right, during the tour, the bus you're on will become a boat, and you'll see the beautiful Boston skyline from the river that separates Boston from Cambridge.

You can pick-up and buy tickets for the tour at two places: The Museum of Science, and The Prudential center in Boston's Back Bay. during the summer the tours are normally sold out by lunchtime. The tour lasts about 80 minutes, and there's no stops.

It's a great tour and you'd have to be "quackers" not to do it! Sorry couldn't resist it.

The freedom Trail

The freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile easy-to-follow red brick line that links 16 historical sites together nearby the streets of Boston. It's a one-way route starting from Boston common and ending up at the Bunker Hill monument in Charlestown.

If you do the whole thing, plan on at least 2-3 hours, or great still take the whole day. You'll pass by many landmarks on your trip, such as: The Boston Common, Boston Massacre Site, Paul Revere's House, and Uss Constitution.

The route takes you through Boston's famed North End, where you'll be sure to return during your Boston vacations to sample the superb Italian restaurants.

The New England Aquarium

As San Diego has its world notable zoo, then Boston has the New England Aquarium.

New England and its coastline have a history of fishing and whaling. But today instead of slaughtering whales, New Englanders spend most of their time saving them.

And the aquarium is a vital link in the area's ocean preservation movement.

The centerpiece of the aquarium is the giant tank. The floors of the aquarium run nearby the tank and up four levels. At the top you get to peer down into a coral reef and listen as the staff by comparison about the tank and the fish that live in it.

You'll get the riposte to questions such as: "Why don't the big shark fish eat the puny tasty fish?" or "How old are those huge sea turtles swimming nearby down there?"

Your mark will comprise a visit to the Discovery next to the main building, where you can see and learn about sea lions during an fabulous show. A few years ago the Aquarium opened an Imax theater that shows a aggregate of sea-related and general science films.

A word of warning - this is a popular Boston vacations attraction for families. But you'll all the time get in, even when the mark line seems to stretch for miles.

Beacon Hill

Sandwiched in a small area in the middle of Boston Common, and the Charles River, are alleys and narrow red brick cobbled streets, where time has stood still for the last century.

This is Beacon Hill, and one of the most popular walks for citizen on their Boston vacations.

Quiet and bewitching, it's a delight to walk. You'll find walled gardens and an authentic 19th century neighborhood feel. Even the traditional gas lights remain on streets lined with aged elms.

A popular haunt for taking pictures is Louisburg Square. A picturesque block of residences perfectly preserved.

After you wander up Mount Vernon street, wind your way back across to the Massachusetts State House that sits atop Beacon Hill and get your camera out again.

And There'S More...

Three other places to visit on your Boston vacations are Cambridge, just across the Charles River, and home to the universities of Harvard and Mit - The J.F.K Library and Museum at Columbia Point in South Boston - and the Boston Harbor Islands, tours to the islands leave from Long Wharf and Rowes Wharf, both located near the aquarium.

Boston has tons of things to do and see, and I've indeed just started to scratch the surface for you. The rest is yours to gawk and as close as your popular crusade engine and booking on the Internet.

Boston, Ma: A Virtual Guided Tour, from a Local's Perspective

Boston, Ma is one of the great cities in America. And while
there are a amount of decent tours people can select from
while visiting Boston, most of them don't go much beyond
Quincy market and the relaxation Trail. In this feature written
by the founder of Boston's private Restaurants and tour
Guide of America, you will learn about the entire city of
Boston, from Fenway Park to Hyde Park.

Boston, at its heart, is a city of neighborhoods. And many of
these sections of Boston have a lot to offer the visitor. While
the virtual tour of Boston is going to begin in familiar
surroundings, you will soon learn about these great
neighborhoods that are often overlooked by tourists.

Beaconhill

Let's start downtown, where you have the
historic Boston Common, Quincy Market, Fanueil Hall, and
much more. This bustling area is where most visitors come.
If you go northeast a few blocks, you end up in the
North End, an old Italian neighborhood
with narrow streets and great restaurants. From here, you
can take the tunnel to East Boston, a
close-knit working-class neighborhood that also has a
strong Italian influence, though it also has a large Brazilian
population now, too.

From East Boston, cut back straight through the tunnel and head
north to Charlestown, a charming old
neighborhood with quaint row houses lining steep hills.
From Charlestown, go back straight through downtown, heading
west straight through Beacon Hill, a tree-shaded
old-money neighborhood, and both the South
End and Back Bay, two exciting,
trendy parts of Boston, and go past The
Fens, where Fenway Park, home of the Boston
Red Sox, is located. You soon arrive in
Allston and Brighton,
two parts of Boston populated by college students. These
funky areas are filled with restaurants, bars, and shops.

From Allston, head south, ultimately ending up in
Jamaica Plain, one of the funkiest Boston
neighborhoods. Jamaica Plain is filled with ma-and-pa
shops and has some of the most gorgeous architecture in
Boston. From here, move southwest into
Roslindale and West
Roxbury, two mostly middle-class sections of
Boston that are mostly residential, though Roslindale is
becoming known for its terrific restaurants, too. East of here
is Hyde Park, a quiet part of Boston that
hasn't changed much over the years and feels more like a
suburban town.

If you continue east from Hyde Park, you reach
Roxbury and Mattapan,
sprawling neighborhoods that are undergoing a lot of
renovation and beautification. This close-knit part of Boston
has some great parks and spectacular, old Victorian houses.

Continuing additional east, you arrive in
Dorchester, a huge neighborhood that is
mostly working class. Black, Irish, and Vietnamese
neighborhoods make up most of Dorchester, but young
professionals are also discovering its gorgeous homes and
old-time charm. From Dorchester, continue northeast into
South Boston, where Boston's Irish
families have lived for more than a century. Southie has
great beaches, steep hills, and spectacular, views of downtown.
And it is a neighborhood that takes pride in its
independence and uniqueness.

From South Boston, it is an easy drive back into uptown
Boston, stopping by bustling Chinatown
and the charming, quiet Bay village along
the way. There is much more to Boston than was covered in
this brief article, but you will have to eye the rest of this
great city on your own!
